I was feeling groggy and cranky this afternoon, nursing a headache and a bad case of there’s-nothing-to-eat-in-the-house.
I was messing around the computer and came across a recipe for rice congee I’d bookmarked a while ago. A light bulb went on. There is plenty of rice in the house, and rice congee is an excellent tonic for feeling out-of-sorts.

Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish. I’ve never actually had authentic bibimbap (actually, I can count the number of times I’ve eaten a Korean meal on one hand), but it’s definitely on my list now!
This was much too tasty (except for the overcooked egg) to go in the Food Gone Wrong category, but it needs a little work before it’s totally right.
